ATS Releases New CDR Analysis Service Bureau With the current state of our industry, it is extremely important to ensure sent and received invoices are accurate, complete, and defensible should regulatory action be required for resolution. However, numerous loopholes and changing regulations for intercarrier billing has made it very complex and prone to revenue leakage. In fact, millions of dollars are lost each year due to billing systems that do not provide the level of detail required to maximize revenues. In spite of this, over the past few years, major OSS vendors have overpriced their billing solutions to a point where ROI is unachievable and the overall goal of reducing cost and increasing revenue is never reached. To counter this trend and offer solutions that are cost effective, ATS has expanded the capabilities of its AMADEUS CDR analysis tool in order to provide a solution that quickly, accurately, and inexpensively finds new revenue streams and solidifies old ones. "ATS can offer a complete CDR analysis solution much cheaper than the large OSS and CABS vendors," said Randall B. Guthrie, CEO of ATS, Inc. "Mostly, they are pricing their solutions to make up for falling revenues and the recent telecom downturn. In contrast, we at ATS have turned a profit every year since our inception in 1995. Therefore, we have the ability to price our solutions with the needs of our client companies first." Specifically, AMADEUS looks for ‘soft spots’ in the flow of CDRs in the switch-to-bill process. These ‘soft spots’ are analyzed and studied for revenue leakage and management is provided with detailed reports that illustrate where revenue is being left ‘on the table.’ Areas
