Management and Control Reporting

Management Reporting and Volume Control offers an in depth analysis of switch activities using the switch's own call detail records. Through a steady stream of call detail records from the client's mediation platform or mediation platform provider, ATS will provide an on-line, web-based representation of network and switch performance. 

On a daily basis, pre-determined recipients will receive a per market/switch volume summary (Number of Calls and Minutes of Use) and a breakdown of any anomalies found. Each section of the summary will provide graphic representations of the data.

Daily Volume Summary provides an 'at a glance' view of the network on a per market/switch basis. The Number of Calls and Minutes of Use per market/switch will be supplied for the day as well as a daily average based on two months of data. Calculated comparisons of the daily volumes to the daily averages are completed, automatically highlighting any inconsistencies. 

These inconsistencies may be shown as a day of high volume (highlighted in Blue) or a day of low or missing volume (highlighted in Red). All markets/switches will be provided with a hot link and bring the user to a graphical representation. From the graphical representation, the user will be directed to another hot-link to a page providing query capability on the Call Detail Records. Queries will allow the user to create reports pulling specific fields from the Call Detail Records.

Our experience has shown that volume changes in the Number of Calls and/or Minutes of Use for any market/switch can indicate switch translation errors, mediation platform problems or even the loss or gain of a high volume client. 

ATS will highlight irregularities using statistics and measurements to calculate the daily average over the course of 2 months and the current days totals in:

  • Answered vs. Unanswered Calls - Peg Counts and Minutes of Use

  • Average Call Duration

  • Volume by CIC Code - Peg Counts and Minutes of Use

  • Call Type - Peg Counts and Minutes of Use
